| We're back! It's been a little while since we last updated the site, as we've been very busy with the Working Man's Soul 2 LP release behind the scenes. It's now back from the pressing plant, and very nice it is too - our usual high quality full colour gatefold release on heavy vinyl. The LP contains all of the tracks from the CD release (except Tracy Jones - Aquarius and Graham Walsh - Sunshine of my life), and we've also completely revised and updated the band biographies to include full details of a few of the artists who we've been able to track down since the CD release. There are only 300 individually numbered copies of the LP, and it won't be repressed. |

| Postage costs. For the first time in over 3 years we have had to increase our postage charges. Regular UK customers will know that the UK's Royal Mail recently changed their postage charges to account for package size: this has had a direct effect on the cost of shipping an LP to anywhere in the world. We've been absorbing any postal increases for over a year; we've managed to keep down CD and seven inch costs so this change only affects LPs. |

Launch party success: Thanks to everyone who came to the Working Man's Soul launch party last night at Bethnal Green Working Men's Club. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! Also a massive thank you to Glenn Wool, The Bob Bernard Quartet, the other artistes and WMC staff who contributed to make the night a success. If you'd like to pick up a limited edition souvenir of the evening, we still have a small number of Working Man's Soul launch party badges and launch party t-shirts available exclusively through our website. Several people asked us if and when the Working Man's Soul vinyl LP edition will be available. We're currently working on a fantastic, very limited edition gatefold release with a few extra goodies so it'll be worth the wait! Expect to see it through selected specialist record shops and available online sometime in early 2007.

| Grotbags The Witch will be officially released on Monday 2nd May! Expect to see it in all the major UK stores. A very limited number of copies has been pre-released to selected stores including System Records, Universal Sounds / Soul Jazz and Piccadilly Records. Work is underway on remastering LSD009 (cracking psych/folk/funk/Northern from Germany!) and LSD008 is being pressed up shortly - a classic Brit-funk UK lounge/funk two-sider from one of the best musicians in the business. Here's the hint - he was the Simon Cowell of his day! Great interview is already in the bag for that one. Also look out for our first 12" - it's a very different sound from our other Licorice Soul numbers. It'll be available in the summer. |

Here's a quick update on what's in the pipeline with forthcoming releases from Licorice Soul...
First up - LSD005 will be out late August/early September. LSD005 will be a really good 2-tracker from a very rare UK library record - we're talking big drums! The original release slated for 005 will now come out at the end of the year.
Also before the end of the year - expect an album! It's a full reissue of a big funky collectable from the late 60s and is packed with goodness... we're working on a super package for you, possibly a few bonus tracks and original cover art into the bargain! Hope you like it!
